An extraordinary evening of music, comedy, and spoken word will take centre stage at the Troxy on Saturday 19 July 2025, as Voices of Solidarity brings together internationally renowned performers and over 2,000 attendees to raise urgent funds for Palestinian health workers and their families. Following the sell-out success of Voices for Gaza at the Camden Roundhouse in 2024 – which raised over £200,000 for Medical Aid for Palestinians – this next chapter sets an even more ambitious goal: to raise £1 million in support of health workers under siege.

Headlined by Bassem Youssef, comedian and former heart surgeon, Paloma Faith, singer, songwriter, and actress, Zeyne, rising Palestinian-Jordanian singer-songwriter, Voices of Solidarity features a world-class line-up across music, comedy and acting and the visual arts, many of whom are outspoken advocates for humanitarian justice.

The Cause

As of May 2025, more than 1,400 health workers have been killed in Gaza, with hospitals reduced to rubble and hundreds of thousands of civilians left without access to basic medical care. All proceeds from Voices of Solidarity will go directly to the Health Workers 4 Palestine (HW4P) Mutual Aid Fund, which supports life-saving healthcare delivery and long-term rebuilding efforts. Funds will be disbursed in partnership with the Palestinian Medical Relief Society (PMRS) and The Ghassan Abu Sittah Children’s Fund. This includes comprehensive mobile clinics, maternal and primary care services, and urgent investment in the training and retention of specialist doctors in fields deliberately decimated by Israeli attacks. Programmes have been co-designed with frontline medics in Gaza and members of the diaspora – including renowned war surgeon Dr Ghassan Abu Sittah – who stresses the urgency of the situation says: They are not just killing people. They are trying to kill the possibility of medicine itself.”  The HW4P fund represents a lifeline for the future of healthcare in the region.

The HW4P Mutual Aid Fund has set out a three-phase plan to improve medical conditions in Gaza: immediate financial support to the families of killed or detained health workers – nearly £100,000 has already been raised for this; retention and training of specialist staff to prevent a humanitarian brain drain; and the longer-term rebuilding of Gaza’s healthcare infrastructure, including trauma, neonatal, and mental health services.

The Organisers: HW4P

This event is brought to you by Health Workers 4 Palestine in collaboration with creative artists and allies. Health Workers 4 Palestine (HW4P) was co-founded by a group of UK-based doctors in November 2023, in direct response to the censorship they faced when speaking out for the rights of Palestinian health workers and the right to healthcare under occupation. What began as a grassroots act of defiance has rapidly grown into a global movement—now active in over 70 cities and recognised as the largest health worker-led, Palestine-focused advocacy network in the UK.
